EVE JACOBS - Eve began dancing at the age of five in her hometown of Wilmette, IL. She completed her final two years of high school at North Carolina School of the Arts before attending Juilliard. Eve has performed in works by Pina Bausch, Ohad Naharin, Lar Lubovitch, and Jerome Robbins, and is developing her voice as writer and choreographer. Ms. Jacobs' dance writing is published in The Juilliard Journal and Musical America Worldwide, and her choreography was recently featured in Choreographers and Composers 2012 and currently Senior Production 2014 . In her choreography, Eve looks for ways to integrate movement, theater, and literature. During her time at Juilliard, Ms. Jacobs participated in outreach and teaching activities that brought her to schools in Utah, South Carolina, New Orleans, and all five boroughs of New York. She enjoyed two years as a GLUCK Community Service Fellow, offering interactive performances at NYC hospitals, nursing homes, and homeless shelters. Outside the studio, Eve appreciates the outdoors and learning new songs to play on her guitar.
